5.2.1
The laboratory management is
ensuring the competence of personnel who operate specific equipment, perform
test / calibration, evaluate result and sign test report / calibration
certificate. The laboratory is providing appropriate supervision to the
personnel undergoing training. Personnel recruited for performing special task
is based on appropriate education, training and experience or demonstrated
skills.
5.2.2
The management of the
laboratory has formulated the goals in respect to the education, training and
skills of the laboratory personnel. The laboratory has documented and
implemented procedure Quality Process for identifying training needs and
providing training to its personnel. Arrangement has been made to train all
personnel for the present activity as well as for anticipated task. The
effectiveness of training actions taken are evaluated.
5.2.3
The laboratory runs with the
personnel employed by it. It does not hire any personnel on contract.
5.2.4
The laboratory is maintaining
job description of managerial, technical and key support personnel involved in
tests and calibration activities.
5.2.5
The laboratory management has
authorized personnel to perform specific tasks of sampling, tests and
calibration, to issue test reports / calibration certificate, to give opinions
and interpretation and operate equipments. The laboratory is maintaining
records of relevant authorization, qualification, training, experience, skill,
job description of all technical personnel. These records are readily
available.
