SOP for Operating the Refrigerator.

     1.0   Objective:

               The objective of this Standard Operating Procedure is to lay down the procedure for operating the Refrigerator.

2.0          Scope:

               This SOP covers operating procedure of Refrigerators .

3.0          Responsibility:

               Junior Research officer, Research Officer: Responsible for operation of the refrigerator as per procedure.

               QA Officer/QA Manager: Review the records and governing the document.

4.0          Procedure:

4.1.     Connect the three-pin plug to the mains supply.

4.2. Switch on the mains.
4.3.  Open the door and keep the control knob on minimum / normal / maximum temperature as per requirement.

4.4.  Put the items gently into the refrigerator chamber.

4.5.  Close the door properly.

4.6.  Check the temperature on daily basis and note down the temperature as per given in Annexure – 1. 

5.0          Routine Maintenance:

5.1         Clean the refrigerator every week with disinfectant solution and wipe with clean duster.
