SOP for Calibration frequency of the instruments.

1.0       Objective:

        The objective of this standard operating procedure is provides the calibration frequency of the instruments.

2.0       Scope:

               This SOP covers frequency of instruments calibration .

3.0       Responsibility:

   Jr. Research Officer/ Research Officer (Analyst) Responsible for in-time calibration.

               QA Officer/QAM: Review the records and governing the document.

4.0       Procedure:

4.1        If Calibration frequency of the instrument is One month                   then, the acceptance criteria is ± 2 days.

4.2       If Calibration frequency of the instrument is Three month                then, the acceptance criteria is ± 4 days

4.3      If Calibration frequency of the instrument is Six month                    then,  the acceptance criteria is ± 6 days.

4.3   If Calibration frequency of the instrument is a Year then, the acceptance criteria is ± 15 days.

Note: The same is applicable for external calibration also.
