METHOD OF
PREPARATION:
Dissolve 1.6
gm of Potassium Permanganate in 450 ml of distilled water, heating on a water
bath for 1 hour. Cooling, filtering through a sintered glass filter and adding
sufficient water to produce 500 ml.
[Store this solution at room temperature in Borosil amber glass bottles with well-fitted suitable stopper.]
